The myth of humans being able to create artificial life was the focus of a major themed exhibition on the golem at the Jewish Museum Berlin. To this day, the most prominent figure in Jewish legend continues to inspire generations of artists and authors.
Our exhibition presented the Golem from its creation in a ritual of Jewish mysticism to its popularity in film and its continuation in artistic and digital worlds.
